The tequila itself is made from 100% blue agave grown in the highlands of Jalisco. Following distillation, the tequila is aged in a mix of vintage grand cru sauternes casks and 20 year old Cognac barrels, resulting in a unique flavour profile. The Añejo, the longest-aged tequila in the Excellia range, spends 18 months maturing before it is bottled.


Plenty of full, rounded agave notes, supported by fresh herbs, dark chocolate and perhaps even a hint of smoke.
